This big, juicy Kenyan is from the Kainamui Factory, located in the Kirinyaga District. We have worked with Kainamui in the past, winning a Good Food Award in for our roast of the 2019 harvest. We are especially excited for this year's harvest because it perfectly represents our favorite Kenyan characteristics: dynamic, sweet and fruity, with a beautifully crisp acidity.
Nestled on the slopes of Mt. Kenya, the Kainamui Factory has around 1,800 members, 1,100 of whom are men and 700 whom are women. The Factory supports its members by providing them with advances for school fees, farm support and other emergency funds.
